Roca Mines Inc. plans to restart its Max molybdenum mine after government inspectors gave approval for mining to resume.
The British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources has rescinded its stop work order, and mining will restart immediately, Roca said Friday afternoon.
The company will take up to two shifts before milling operations restart, which is planned for Saturday.
